Starman? Yes! The James Robinson comic? Nope. The John Carpenter film? Guess again! The David Bowie song? Not even close.
From First Issue Special #12 is by Gerry Conway, Mike Vosburg + Mike Royer, comes DC’s second superhero named Starman, who made a grand total of one appearance in 21 years, before being revived by James Robinson in the pages of his Starman comic, featuring Jack Knight. (No…not that Jack Knight).
