We leap ahead to 1997 to review Roger Stern’s better-late-than-never Hobgoblin Hullabaloo.
Reviewing Spider-Man: Hobgoblin Lives #1-3, by Roger Stern, Ron Frenz, George Pérez, Jerome Moore, Scott Hanna, and Bob McLeod. This mini-series provided Roger Stern with a chance to set the story straight about the true identity of the Hobgoblin — as he always intended.
Adam-Antium returns to join the Spider-Friends for a very special episode.

After listening to the latest Here Comes the Spider cast podcast, I reread hobgoblin lives. I am not saying it is Frank Miller daredevil but it was nowhere near as bad as the podcast made it out to be. Stern had to deal with years of stories that defied his original vision. He wasn’t able to retcon everything and pick up where he left off. Considering that, I thought he did a really good job. Sometimes, I simply don’t understand why you guys SEEM to hate the comics you review so much.
Thanks for listening, Paul!
I don’t understand why certain people seem to hate the comics either :p.
