This week’s Bronze Age, Spider-Man podcast features appearances by Puma and Cloak & Dagger. It’s been a minute since the dynamic duo of Cloak & Dagger have made an appearance but it’s not a Team-up and I’m sure Josh is super ecstatic about that! Regardless, the team is back and so is Puma. Even though Spidey has romantic problems of his own, he joins the fight to defeat the enemy.
The comic books that we cover in this episode of the Spider-Cast are another great set from the Bronze, Spidey-verse: Amazing Spider-Man #257 by Tom DeFalco, Ron Frenz + Josef Rubinstein; Marvel Team-Up #146 by Cary Burkett, Greg LaRocque + Mike Esposito; and Peter Parker, The Spectacular Spider-Man #95 by Al Milgrom + Jim Mooney.
It has been a while, but our great, old pal and Super-friend of the Syndicate Al Piper, guest stars in this episode! Al is an avid comic book reader and movie aficionado. Al frequents one of Windsor’s older comic book stores, Border City Comics and we run into him there all the time; we just had to have him on the podcast! Al joins our regular co-hosts Mike-El and Josh as they take a look at Spider-Man comic books from October of 1984.
