See the plot details & new still images for Iron Man 3.
Remember when Captain America asked Tony Stark, “Big man in a suit of armor. Take that away –what are you?” I don’t think Captain America was trying to jinx Stark, but he is kinda right.
Kevin Feige sat down with USA Today to talk about Marvel’s first Phase 2 film, Iron Man 3. Feige said that the film “…picks up some months after The Avengers“, and that the film will heavily focus on Tony, with lead actor Robert Downey Jr. being in almost every scene. He also stated however, that Gwyneth Paltrow’s, Pepper Potts will also have an important role to play. When Tony is targeted by the Mandarin (Ben Kingsley) the resulting attack leaves Tony without a ‘vast array of gadgets and weaponry’. However, from that loss comes the most advanced Iron Man suit yet. I think Feige’s quote best states the situation:
“He basically loses all of his toys and is forced to just use his mind to rebuild and to face his biggest enemy,” Feige said.
