• I guess I’m still looking for my “Goldilocks” Orville podcast. Most of the others are bursting with unvarying positivity. Every episode is the best ever. Even though this is one of my favorite shows, I don’t want that. I’m not one of those fans that cannot abide any criticism of my beloved show. This season already, I thought one of the three episodes was bad (the second episode with the horror theme). I also didn’t like the season two finale, so even with the three-year-gap, that’s still two out of the past four that didn’t work for me.

  But you guys are relentlessly negative and don’t seem to like the show at all, at least this season. This latest episode was one of my favorites of the whole series, an absolute A+ in my book, yet all three of you panned it. Really? Not a single dissent among you? Sigh.

  • I encourage you to listen to our reviews of Seasons 1 and 2…they’re are almost universally positive.

    I defended Season 3, Episode 1; i was on the fence about Episode 2, but by the third episode, I am starting to lose faith.

    I will gladly give the rest of the season a chance, which is more than I can see than many of the ‘haters’ I have come across on social media!

  • I’ll have to admit, after I watched it I was full of hope. I liked it a lot! I thought everything was so cool and that the adventure wasnt like anything I had seen in the show before.

    But once that 5 minutes was over and I actually thought about what I’d watched, I was a little disappointed for all the reasons you heard us talk about.
