The life of protofeminist Margaret Sanger is turned into a hilarious and informative graphic novel by alternative cartoonist Peter Bagge.
The Nerdiest Book Club in all of Comicdom assembles once again at Detroit Comics to review another graphic novel. This time it’s Woman Rebel, by indy darling Peter Bagge (HATE, Weirdo). We discuss Bagge’s comic strip treatment of Sanger’s life, assess the number of her sexual partners, and ponder the pronunciation of “Bagge”.
